Bittersweet October

Bittersweet October. The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter.

To me this photo represents "change", where the middle of one extreme meets the other.

Whether we all wanna believe it or not, change happens and we must all enjoy it one way or another.

The photo was taken roughly 3pm Saturday afternoon, the sun was glaring harshly putting the foreground and my friend partially in the shade. From there I colored in the rest and enhanced the colors in the trees.
